Reserve parking
During the Clandestino Festival there will be a lot of people on the KKV Bohuslän. It can be difficult to get parking space. For those artists who live or work continuously can therefore pick up signs so that you can reserve parking spaces. Talk to Michael or contact the office and we will help you.
Public art assignment
Four artistic design assignments are advertised for the new Alingsås Hospital. Last day to submit expressions of interest is 16 September 2016. These documents are also available to download in English. Consider the following
Poor cleaning of common areas, a few do it sometimes.
No pets allowed in the premises of KKV-B, there are many allergy sufferers.
If you drive the truck, WRITE IT ON THE LIST IN THE TRUCK! There will be no double-charging when you write it on your lists in time accounts, this is always checked and compared.
If you have not rescheduled your reservation of accommodation later than one week before your reservation, this full booking will be charged on you as no one else had access to the room or studio.
Please pay your bills on time, as this would otherwise cause a lot of extra work at the office. As it stands today, many have not even paid their membership fees.
Stone crafts education
A decision has now been taken, stone crafts education starts as planned in August. We are now working together with Grebbestad to develop a lease agreement and make final maintenance measures required education to start.
Grebbestad Folk High School has a new website and now has more information, including course programs and contact information to teachers on the net. There are places left on the course and admission will last until the start of the course. Please spread the word – it is important for both Grebbestads Folkhögskola and KKV Bohuslän we get driven and dedicated students for the course!
The new building
After 33 years in business and 10 000 works of art delivered over Sweden, it is now time for new studios for our long-artists!
The old barracks are condemned!
Without new building no future for business!

Your contribution can range from $ 500 to six figures and it basically means that you lend us a sum of money which can be repaid at the earliest after five years or paid with priority over members’ efforts in the event of sale of the property.
What has happened?
Tanum contributed SEK 90 000, which was the prerequisite for RUN, Västra Götaland Development Board would contribute with 290 000 which projects to Artist Residence Workshop Collective (ARC). A feasibility study for the new building was made by the grace Architects spring of 2015 as a basis for further work. A preliminary quotation has been received 2 650 000 (ex.moms) above the ground. For it is the foundation on plinths, drains, other earthworks, unforeseen expenses, etc., can go up to about 500 000 – (excl. VAT) Total c 15 500: – / m2 (excl. VAT)
What is planned?
What is the priority in 2016?
A new studio building for the accommodation of 184 m2 on two floors with 12 rooms from 8 m2 to 20 m2 with large common kitchen / living room and washrooms. Plan 1 is adapted to accessibility.
Total building cost 4 000 000 (incl. VAT) The decision was taken at the annual meeting April 23, 2016, and the earliest construction will be in February 2017.
What is the priority in autumn 2016?
get at least 2 000 000 by both: new and increased
Member contributions, Publisher Share certificates (new), grants and
sponsors. (National Board of Housing, LEADER Ranrike, THORDÉNSTIFTELSEN etc.
– Get a dispensing solution for the sewer with the municipality.
– Get advance in building permits in March 2016
– Establish detailed construction documents
– Have at least 2 quotes for.
– Approved financing plan under RUN application.
