Notice of the joint membership meeting of the compounds G21 and KKV-B.
Saturday, January 28, 2017, at. 14:00 to 16:30 at the KKV-B.
MEETING SUBJECT: Completion of a ’studios on the property G21
replacement of the old barracks condemned

The meeting will be opened by the Chairman of the G21 and the NPP-B.

- G21 gives a status report on the new building of studios and presents the action plan for 2017 with revised drawings for 25 comments received.
- Project management. According to the grant application to the Regional Development Board’s G21 principal for the new building of KKV-B board’s steering committee, an approach followed throughout the process. Leif Gustafsson, financial consultant, describes our unions joint financing plan for the new building 10 years ahead. The plan assumes that NPP-B accepts a higher future cold rent, but will also provide increased income to the NPP-B. A prerequisite given the consultant, is that the cheapest room in the future hyregästen costs $ 100. He has been based on associations annual meeting closing the last 3 years.

- Approval of action and financing plan for the newly built studios at the G21 with the mission to G21s Board, in consultation with the KKV-B Board:
a) To start the build process immediately by applications for construction & demolition, negotiations with the bank, quotes and more, all in accordance with the financial plan.
b) if the plan is met, start construction in March 2017, so that it is ready to move later than June 1; alternatively construction start September so that it is moving considerably later than January 1, 2018.
c) selecting Kristofer Utbult to the project of the new building liable to G21s board and KKV-B management group.

Code of conduct for KKV Bohuslän

Meeting on the KKV Bohuslän courses
It has for some time been difficult to find both trainers and trainees to KKV Bohuslän courses. Exceptions are the stone courses we organize in summer and the rates at which different schools renting space on our premises. The courses of the KKV Bohuslän is important for several reasons. It’s a great way to recruit new members, they provide revenue to our association and they provide fees to our trainers.
We are looking for members in different ways to become involved in our courses. Perhaps you have ideas about marketing courses we should organize or other course related? If so, come to a meeting on the KKV Bohuslän on Monday 23 January at 14.00. We will provide refreshments!
Important dates for this year’s summer exhibition
The Board of KKV Bohuslän has decided on the following dates for this year’s summer exhibition:
Date for submission of works and lists: June 3
Hanging of the exhibition: June 5 to 11
Administration of labels, price lists, maps: June 12 to 16
VIP tours: June 19 to 22
Opening: June 25
Finissage: August 20
We will send out lists where you can fill in the work you want on the show, booking schedule for the show hosts and general guidelines for the summer exhibition shortly.
We are looking for guides for new members
Would you like to be a guide for a new member from another country? In connection with that we are awarding five season tickets to the artists who came to Sweden as refugees, we are looking for five guides among our members that can help them be introduced in the various workshops. Does it sound interesting? Send an email to carl@kkv-b.se and register your interest. Also write what / which workshops you can guide. In connection with the annual cards will be awarded soon the board will try to match the guides with the new members on the basis of what technologies they are working in. To thank you for your assistance, we offer a one-week free working in any of our workshops (value 750 kr) Please help us spread the word!
KKV Bohuslän offers of support from New Cultural five free season tickets to the artists who came to Sweden as refugees. Annual cards have a value of 9,000 dollars and entitles to free labor in all our workshops. We welcome applications during the period November 1 to 30, in 2016.
Annual meeting of the KKV Bohuslän April 2
The annual meeting of the KKV Bohuslän will be held on 2 April 2017. According to our statutes, this shall be announced by January 31. Motions to the Annual Meeting shall be sent to the Registry no later than March 2. New buildings on the stone yard
As some of you have seen and noticed standing there since year-end new byssjor on stone yard and we are composite connect electricity and water in them. When everything is ready, we will have about the same storage and changing facilities as before, but to a much fresher premises. We ask you to be patient while the installation is in progress.
In the members’ locker room, a cabinet belonging to every workplace in the stone courtyard. It will therefore not previously possible to long-term store clothes in the locker room. While you working at the stone yard always be sure that you have your own locker when you have booked a working booths. However, it will still be possible to rent a locker to store tools. We ask you who have clothes or tools in cabinet today to retrieve them so that we can more easily relocate and rebuild where cabinets will be going to be placed.
Do you know who will receive the 2017 years stone grant?
Then you are probably quite right person to work with this year’s scholarship! It has become high time to find the two members appointed this year’s scholarship and work with the scholarship.
